Throughout history, trivia has always been more than a game.
In ancient Greece, scholars tested each other’s wit in symposiums. In 12th-century Baghdad, thinkers debated questions in bustling libraries. Even in medieval Europe, monarchs used riddles and logic games to assess the sharpness of their advisors.
Today, a new chapter in that centuries-old tradition is being written, one that blends human curiosity with cutting-edge Web3 technology.
We’re proud to announce the launch of the MOT Token on GeckoTerminal, the official utility token of the Masters of Trivia platform. Built on the Solana blockchain and backed by a thriving global community of over 200,000 players, MOT is the first step in transforming trivia into an economic, educational, and social engine for the 21st century.

Revolution in Russia
👉Marquee Event
On November 6, 1917, according to the Gregorian calendar, the Bolsheviks, led by Vladimir Lenin, launched the second and decisive phase of the Russian Revolution, often referred to as the October Revolution due to its date on the Julian calendar (October 25, Old Style).
This event saw the overthrow of the Provisional Government, which had been in power since the earlier February Revolution, and marked the birth of Soviet rule. Armed workers and Red Guards stormed key locations in Petrograd (now St. Petersburg), including the Winter Palace, establishing a government led by the Soviets of Workers’ and Soldiers’ Deputies.
📌 Why This Matters
The Russian Revolution of 1917 wasn’t just a local rebellion; it reshaped global geopolitics. The Bolshevik rise to power gave birth to the world’s first Marxist state, which would become the Soviet Union, a superpower that defined the 20th century through the Cold War, space race, and ideological conflicts across continents.
It also challenged existing models of monarchy, capitalism, and class structure, sparking revolutions, fears, and resistance movements from China to Cuba to Western Europe.
🎯 How Much do you Know about the Russian Revolution?
Many people forget that the 1917 revolution was actually two revolutions in one year. The February Revolution (in March by modern calendar) overthrew Tsar Nicholas II, ending centuries of Romanov rule. But it was the October Revolution (November 6–7) that truly shattered the old order and ushered in communist control.
The storming of the Winter Palace was later mythologized by Soviet propaganda, including a dramatic reenactment filmed in 1920 that was so powerful it became confused with real newsreel footage.
