Throughout history, trivia has always been more than a game.
In ancient Greece, scholars tested each other’s wit in symposiums. In 12th-century Baghdad, thinkers debated questions in bustling libraries. Even in medieval Europe, monarchs used riddles and logic games to assess the sharpness of their advisors.
Today, a new chapter in that centuries-old tradition is being written, one that blends human curiosity with cutting-edge Web3 technology.
We’re proud to announce the launch of the MOT Token on GeckoTerminal, the official utility token of the Masters of Trivia platform. Built on the Solana blockchain and backed by a thriving global community of over 200,000 players, MOT is the first step in transforming trivia into an economic, educational, and social engine for the 21st century.

On November 19, 2017, Charles Manson, the notorious cult leader behind a series of gruesome murders in 1969, died in prison at the age of 83. Manson had spent nearly five decades behind bars, his name synonymous with manipulation, evil, and the dark underbelly of 1960s counterculture.
He orchestrated the killings carried out by his followers—known as the Manson Family—most infamously the massacre of actress Sharon Tate and four others at her Los Angeles home.
📌 Why This Matters
The Manson murders marked a grim turning point in American cultural history. They shattered the idealism of the hippie era, brought an end to the “Summer of Love” optimism, and revealed how charisma and ideology, when twisted, could be weaponized to horrific ends.
Manson’s trial was a media circus, and his image—wild-eyed, swastika-carved forehead, cryptic speeches—haunted the public imagination. He became a symbol of cultic extremism, criminal insanity, and the power of psychological control.
His death in 2017 was not just the end of a life, but a closing echo of a trauma that reverberated through decades of true crime, pop culture, and legal history.
🎯 How Much do you Know about Charles Manson?
Manson was never convicted of personally committing murder. Instead, he was found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder, having orchestrated and incited his followers to carry out the killings.
His bizarre theology—a mix of apocalyptic race war prophecy, Beatles lyrics (Helter Skelter), and twisted interpretations of the Book of Revelation—formed the doctrine of his cult.
The Manson case spurred major legal and cultural changes, including debates about the death penalty, mental illness, cults, and how media glamorizes criminal figures.
To this day, his influence lingers: referenced in music, films (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), documentaries, and psychological studies.
