Throughout history, trivia has always been more than a game.
In ancient Greece, scholars tested each other’s wit in symposiums. In 12th-century Baghdad, thinkers debated questions in bustling libraries. Even in medieval Europe, monarchs used riddles and logic games to assess the sharpness of their advisors.
Today, a new chapter in that centuries-old tradition is being written, one that blends human curiosity with cutting-edge Web3 technology.
We’re proud to announce the launch of the MOT Token on GeckoTerminal, the official utility token of the Masters of Trivia platform. Built on the Solana blockchain and backed by a thriving global community of over 200,000 players, MOT is the first step in transforming trivia into an economic, educational, and social engine for the 21st century.

December 2, 1993 — After years of manhunts, bribes, violence, and narco-terrorism, Pablo Escobar, the world’s most feared drug lord, was killed in a rooftop shoot-out with Colombian authorities in Medellín. His death marked the symbolic end of the Medellín cartel, which at its peak supplied 80% of the world’s cocaine.
Escobar had amassed a personal fortune estimated at over $30 billion, making him one of the richest criminals in history. His brutal methods included bombings, assassinations, and political corruption on a global scale—but to some in Colombia, he was also seen as a Robin Hood-like figure who funded schools and housing in the slums.
📌 Why This Matters
Pablo Escobar wasn’t just a drug trafficker, he was a geopolitical disruptor. He challenged the Colombian state, influenced U.S. drug policy, and reshaped global criminal enterprise.
His story reveals how narcotics, politics, violence, and populism can collide with explosive consequences. Understanding Escobar’s life is key to understanding the modern drug war, cartel dynamics, and Colombia’s decades-long struggle for stability.
🎯 How Much do you Know about Pablo Escobar?
💡 Did you know?
Escobar offered to pay off Colombia’s national debt in exchange for immunity.
His self-built prison, "La Catedral", included a casino, spa, and nightclub.
He once escaped authorities by walking out the front door of his own prison.
After his death, parts of Medellín erupted into mourning, not celebration.
His influence continues—his brother runs a "Pablo Escobar" brand today, and his story inspired the hit series Narcos.
