Throughout history, trivia has always been more than a game.
In ancient Greece, scholars tested each other’s wit in symposiums. In 12th-century Baghdad, thinkers debated questions in bustling libraries. Even in medieval Europe, monarchs used riddles and logic games to assess the sharpness of their advisors.
Today, a new chapter in that centuries-old tradition is being written, one that blends human curiosity with cutting-edge Web3 technology.
We’re proud to announce the launch of the MOT Token on GeckoTerminal, the official utility token of the Masters of Trivia platform. Built on the Solana blockchain and backed by a thriving global community of over 200,000 players, MOT is the first step in transforming trivia into an economic, educational, and social engine for the 21st century.

On November 18, 1959, Ben-Hur—an epic Hollywood production starring Charlton Heston—held its world premiere. The film would go on to win 11 Academy Awards, a record at the time (tied only by Titanic and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King).
Set in Roman-occupied Judea, the film featured unforgettable scenes like the legendary chariot race, brought to life through groundbreaking cinematography and intense physical performances. At the center of it all was Charlton Heston as Judah Ben-Hur, delivering one of the most iconic performances in film history.
📌 Why This Matters
Charlton Heston wasn’t just the star of Ben-Hur—he became the face of an entire genre of biblical and historical epics that defined mid-century Hollywood. Known for his towering presence, commanding voice, and heroic gravitas, Heston symbolized the idealized masculine hero in a post-war America hungry for mythic storytelling.
Ben-Hur was more than a blockbuster, it was a cinematic milestone, both technically and culturally. Its success redefined the possibilities of film as spectacle, and its moral themes resonated deeply with global audiences.
🎯 How Much do you Know about Charlton Heston?
Heston had already made waves in The Ten Commandments (1956) as Moses, but Ben-Hur took his career to new heights. He trained rigorously for the intense chariot race scenes, refusing to use a stunt double, resulting in one of cinema’s most thrilling action sequences.
Later in life, Heston became a polarizing public figure, leading the National Rifle Association (NRA) and becoming a symbol of conservative activism in America. Yet his contributions to film remain legendary.
His deep voice, powerful screen presence, and embodiment of classical heroism made him an enduring figure in 20th-century American cinema.
