Throughout history, trivia has always been more than a game.
In ancient Greece, scholars tested each other’s wit in symposiums. In 12th-century Baghdad, thinkers debated questions in bustling libraries. Even in medieval Europe, monarchs used riddles and logic games to assess the sharpness of their advisors.
Today, a new chapter in that centuries-old tradition is being written, one that blends human curiosity with cutting-edge Web3 technology.
We’re proud to announce the launch of the MOT Token on GeckoTerminal, the official utility token of the Masters of Trivia platform. Built on the Solana blockchain and backed by a thriving global community of over 200,000 players, MOT is the first step in transforming trivia into an economic, educational, and social engine for the 21st century.

On November 28, 1820, Friedrich Engels was born in Prussia. A radical thinker and revolutionary political theorist, Engels would go on to coauthor one of the most influential political documents in world history: The Communist Manifesto (1848), alongside Karl Marx.
Engels brought firsthand knowledge of industrial capitalism from his family’s textile business and paired it with Marx’s philosophical rigor. Together, they laid the intellectual foundation for a movement that would reshape global geopolitics, economics, and society for over a century.
Their core argument: history is a struggle between classes, and capitalism inevitably contains the seeds of its own destruction.
📌 Why This Matters
Communism is more than just an economic system — it’s an ideological framework that inspired revolutions, governments, and conflicts across the 20th century.
From the Russian Revolution of 1917 to the Cold War, from Maoist China to Cuban socialism, the ideas developed by Marx and Engels have touched nearly every corner of the world.
Even in places where communism failed or was rejected, it forced democracies to adapt, reshaping labor laws, education systems, and welfare policies.
🎯 How Much do you Know about Communism?
💡 Did you know?
Engels personally funded Marx’s work for decades, allowing him to write Das Kapital while Engels ran a factory in Manchester.
Though often overshadowed by Marx, Engels was an excellent writer and brilliant political organizer.
The Communist Manifesto opens with one of the most famous lines in political literature:
“A spectre is haunting Europe—the spectre of Communism.”
To this day, debates over communism stir strong emotions—admiration, fear, curiosity. But no matter the opinion, its impact is undeniable.
