Throughout history, trivia has always been more than a game.
In ancient Greece, scholars tested each other’s wit in symposiums. In 12th-century Baghdad, thinkers debated questions in bustling libraries. Even in medieval Europe, monarchs used riddles and logic games to assess the sharpness of their advisors.
Today, a new chapter in that centuries-old tradition is being written, one that blends human curiosity with cutting-edge Web3 technology.
We’re proud to announce the launch of the MOT Token on GeckoTerminal, the official utility token of the Masters of Trivia platform. Built on the Solana blockchain and backed by a thriving global community of over 200,000 players, MOT is the first step in transforming trivia into an economic, educational, and social engine for the 21st century.

December 4, 1996 — On this day, NASA launched the Mars Pathfinder, an unmanned spacecraft carrying the Sojourner rover, from Cape Canaveral, Florida.
Pathfinder’s mission was ambitious: to test technologies for future missions, study the Martian atmosphere, and explore the geology of Mars. It marked NASA’s first return to Mars since Viking in 1976 and heralded a new era of robotic exploration.
Upon its successful landing on July 4, 1997, Pathfinder deployed the Sojourner rover—the first wheeled robot to operate on another planet—which sent back stunning images and groundbreaking data from the Martian surface.
📌 Why This Matters
Mars Pathfinder wasn’t just another science experiment. It was a proof of concept for low-cost space missions and set the stage for everything that followed: Spirit, Opportunity, Curiosity, Perseverance, and even Elon Musk’s obsession with colonization.
It answered key questions and posed new ones:
What is the Martian climate like?
Is there evidence of ancient water?
Can humans one day live there?
In short, Pathfinder reignited global curiosity and became a symbol of interplanetary ambition.
🎯 How Much do you Know about Planet Mars?
💡 Did you know?
The Sojourner rover was no bigger than a microwave yet traveled nearly 100 meters during its mission.
Its name honors Sojourner Truth, the African-American abolitionist and women’s rights activist.
Pathfinder used a revolutionary airbag landing system, bouncing on the surface before unfolding its solar panels.
The mission cost just $265 million—a bargain compared to traditional space programs.
Images from the mission were among the first viral photos shared over the early internet.
